Unearthed

Always wanting to stretch myself, I decided to create another mixed media piece. I have previously done a mixed media piece with little swimmers tying down their coach with lane ropes & timers while he was asleep, & putting their fins (flippers) in the alarm clock to stop it from going off. My kids were state champ level swimmers with early morning & afternoon training sessions 6 days/week, which inspired that piece. It was fun & I’ve been wanting to do another with little people in it. So here it is … little earth people hanging on tight to tree roots & leaves used as parachutes, as they fight for survival against the power of nature.
