Sea turtle - breaking the surface for air.

Take the time to watch the flow of water as the turtle breaks the surface, with a stingray riding the wash alongside. You’ll also notice the rising water below the turtle’s head, in the base on which the sculpture resides. 
We must continue our quest to save these peaceful and beautiful creatures. They not only face the threat of natural predators, but also our human impact. This impact includes pollution, loss of nesting beaches due to coastal development, accidental capture by commercial fishing and illegal trade for their shells. In addition, they’re choked and smothered, along with other land and water animals, by the 8 million tonnes of plastic that enters our oceans every year.
We humans have a lot to answer for! Let’s be better.
